I was waiting for the day when ninjas would be more than “heroes in a half shell” (BTW I just saw they released a 25th anniversary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Blu-Ray boxset – Damn, I’m old)

But enough about those ninjas, I’m talkin’ bout NINJA ASSASSIN (I’ve always found that word funny… ASS ASS IN) – Something to look forward to on November 25th.

The creators of the Matrix have their hand in this, making me want to see it even more!

I took a trip down memory lane and watched what is arguably the “most accurate portrayal of Jamaican language in an American film” at the very start of the 90′s – The Rastas are the drug-dealing bad guys, Steven Seagal is out to break some bones as “White Boy Hatcher”.

The movie also arguably has the most creepiest of all bad guys, a man with 2 head and 4 eyes: Screwface…who likes to get really close to people, invading personal space and doing Obeah.

The film’s soundtrack is pretty good, with “Harder They Come” star Jimmy Cliff singing the main theme “John Crow” – A Jamaican slang word for Vulture.

I’m trying to get the hook out of my head but I’m here posting it…lol. Enjoy!

I was having a day dream about a hot Jamaican beef patty and luckily for me there is a local Caribbean restaurant close by…

A few of my friends and I made a video almost over 2 years ago about this fine half moon-shaped flaky pastry meat pocket foodstuff under our comedy website Dirty Ass Dishes

The story is pretty simple: Where do you find the best beef patty in Toronto? – Throw in 2 white guys, a random Asian guy, Ninja, Jamaican rasta and a nondescript Caribbean man with the name “Rubentaug” and you have the Great Toronto Hot Beef Patty Search.

Note: This is a 3-part series and the final episode has been muted by Youtube/Warner Music Group due to the use of the Michael McDonald song “I Keep Forgettin” (which we will be re-cutting without this song so the trilogy will be complete with sound) – Speaking of sound the background music and end credits theme “Beef To Patty” was done by yours truly [Rux].
